As a full-service agency, our service includes primary translation, review/proofreading and basic formatting. We are adept at working with all types of documents to and from all file formats. Most translations are provided in digital format but hard copy versions are provided upon request. PALS for Health provides translations that are done by experienced translators who have fulfilled our detailed screening and testing measures. Additionally, all translators must have successfully completed our 8-hour intensive training course scoring a 80% or higher to be considered a qualified translator.

Spanish Translation Services
PALS for Health originally focused on East Asian languages during our humble origins. However, with the advent of our ALAS para tu Salud project in 2003, PALS for Health quickly became a recognized leader in Spanish language-related issues with a thorough understanding and knowledge of the variances due to culture, geography and local dialects.

Written Translation Services for agencies funded by the Division of HIV and STD Programs (DHSP)
PALS for Health is a current contractor for the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health, Divison of HIV and STD Programs. Under this program, other DHSP funded service providers are eligible to receive no cost/subsidized translation services for client-focused documents. This includes client intake forms, various medical forms, consent forms, educational materials and more. These translation services are available in multiple languages and are composed by qualified translators who have received additional specialized training in culturally and linguistically appropriate languages pertaining to HIV health care.
