Translation
PALS for Health implements a three-tier process for each document undergoing translation. A primary translator translates the document from English into the target language, while a secondary translator (also known as the reviewer) reviews the completed translation. If the translation requires corrections or edits, the initial translator will do so under the supervision of the reviewer. Final product will be reviewed for the third and final time by yet another translator (also known as final reviewer). This process underscores the essence of written translation, which is to produce an accurate, culturally appropriate and complete delivery of the message through the collaboration of two experts (the initial translator and the reviewer). Finally, at the request of our clients, the translated document can also be typeset into an appropriate format.
The complete process of translating, reviewing and typesetting, takes 2-6 weeks. However, we are able to accommodate our clients’ need for a shorter turn-around time. The cost for each translation project will vary depending on the complexity of the language, format design and whether it requires a quick turn-around time.
