As strong supporters of continuing education, PALS for Health also conducts ongoing seminars where guest experts are invited to speak on various issues pertinent to the health and/or interpretation arena.
PALS for Health continuing education is meant to provide our trained health care interpreters with the most up-to-date tools and skills that will enhance their interpretation services and skills, and their knowledge on specific health areas, diseases. At each continuing education seminars, participants will be provided with copies of the presentation, a list of commonly used medical terms, language-specific glossary, educational booklets and other educational materials.
Please note that PALS for Health does not offer any CE credits for nursing, social works, etc.

We also encourage interpreters to personally pursue other forms of continuing education by keeping abreast of current events in the United States and in their home country, enrolling in pertinent educational sessions, maintaining linkages with other interpreters and more.
